
City of Salisbury
The Council's goal for the City of Salisbury is to ensure accessibility, equity and safety for the community. Given the large and diverse population and the vast terrain within the City of Salisbury's boundaries, we aim to provide premium services and facilities, as well as a range of recreational opportunities for residents and visitors.
We offer five libraries, six Community Centres, four Recreation Centres, a swimming centre and a community gallery, all of which provide ample opportunity for learning, leisure and fun.
Water Conservation
The City of Salisbury is committed to an ongoing strategy of sustainability. The City of Salisbury has led the change in water conservation technology and continues to develop new initiatives, to better conserve water and reduce reliance on the River Murray.
The Council's Water Business Unit is responsible for the management and development of the Salisbury's leading capabilities in water conservation, including wetlands, stormwater harvesting, reWater, integrated water management plan and aquifer storage and recovery.
Technology Park
Located just 12km from Adelaide's CBD at Mawson Lakes, South Australia, Technology Park is home to major defence, electronics, and information technology companies. Technology Park is recognised as a leader in technology commercialisation with over 70 companies and organisations employing over 4,000 employees.
